I am a mother to three busy children, two even busier puggles, and at an EXTREMELY crazy point in my life. I am THRIVING on the blessings of an amazingly supportive hubby, enthusiastic kiddos, and a rapidly growing business. This is one of those moments in your life where you just KNOW it’s a “God thing!” I feel blessed daily, amazed and thankful that this is the life that was chosen for me! How did you come to Wild Style?
I really feel like Wild Style came to US! I have been in the industry professionally for almost 6 years, and have used that time to explore, learn, grow, and THRIVE as an artist. Opening this business was inspired when we prioritized our commitment to ethics and art as a team – and “the rest was history!” Never did I imagine in my wildest dreams, that our business would grow as soon and as quick as it has, but we are grateful to be adding designers left and right to keep up with the exciting demand of the warm reception we have received from Central Illinois thus far.
What makes you a specialist in your area of expertise?
I am probably the most “self-taught” artist in the bunch. I was gifted with the ability to be able to recreate and remake any design that interests me. My DRIVE to create must be what fuels the education I have pursued. I have logged HOURS in classes under leaders in the industry, and rely on my own artistic touch to make up the difference. Pair that talent with a complete LOVE to make others smile and succeed – and I guess that’s what makes me an “expert!” It doesn’t hurt that this is the THIRD successful business I have ran…
What are you looking forward to the most in this field?
I am always looking forward to and pursuing CHANGE! This is an ever-growing, ever-changing industry, and staying on top of what is new and interesting is what helps us LEAD the body art industry in our areas of specialty. I LOVE that – offering new and different looks to our customers every time they see us! I also am happiest when the people around me are, and I can’t wait as our wings expand and we are able to head out to festivals and fairs across the State making others smile… That’s just about as exciting as watching my designers mature, grow, and master their skills!
Favorite color: any shade of blue
Favorite design: “Let me Surprise you!” These always turn out the best, with the most “wow” factor!
Favorite Song to design to: Anything laid back with a beat… Bruno Mars, Jack Johnson, etc…
Favorite Summer Treat: Starbucks Non-fat Frappuccino in Peppermint Mocha… but watermelon is a close second place!

What or Who inspires you?
My family. The friends I meet along the way. Design. Beauty. Challenges. The opportunity for success – not a monetary amount, but to be successful by impacting others… I love my job!
