I have to say, it has been an exciting few days around here and we have been working on so much for you all this Summer! Here is a quick schedule going into the weekend. We really hope to see tons of you out and about!
Friday 6-9 pm: Kristi and JP at the Races! Join us at the Farmer City Raceway for a great night. Wild Style Designers will be at every race we can this Summer, as long as the weather holds out! Our faces will be $3-5 … Look for our custom faces made JUST for the race track, as well as JP’s AMAZING tribal and body graffiti work – He is literally one of a kind in this area!
Saturday 8 am – 5 pm: Shelly and Kristi will be in Towanda all day to kick off the Red Carpet Corridor. Join Wild Style Design Company and The Glitter Fairies along with plenty of other vendors to kick off the Summer Festival and Fair season! We LOVE the atmosphere of festivals, and will have tons of new work to knock your socks off! Our painted designs will run $3-8, and our henna designs will be in the $5-14 range. Also, check out our friends, The Glitter Fairies, for an AWESOME collaborative work featuring BOTH The Glitter Fairy and Wild Style. If you want something original, this is what you have been waiting for!

Saturday 6 pm – ???: Shelly and Kristi join Six String Club for an over-the-top Cinco de Mayo celebration! Kristi is our premier Sugar Skull artist, and Shelly is our lead professional make-up artist. Stop by and get your custom sugar skull or Diva Design because when we are at Six Strings, we always work for tips only! That means, you pick the price! The club will be hosting the “El Jimador Girls” and has an awesome band lined up called “Tailgate,” their best-of-the-best house band… To top it off, we are also helping Six Strings celebrate Kara’s birthday… she is one of their patrons’ faves, and we can’t wait to celebrate with her!
Sunday 8 am – 5 pm: Kristi returns to Towanda to wrap up the Towanda Fest during the Route 66 Red Carpet Corridor. Today we will be featuring one of our latest additions, JP, and his amazing Tribal work, so come on out for your custom design! Also, our newest henna artist may make an appearance. We have NEVER seen work like hers, so now is the time to get your hand or foot temporary tattooed by one of the best around! ***Today only, we will be limiting our body art to Henna and our collaborative work with The Glitter Fairies between 11:30-2:30. The Festival is bringing in a children’s artist from another local company, and we offered to “step down” for a few hours to avoid conflict and be respectful of their work…
Sunday 2-4 pm: Shelly will be the featured artist at Pretty in Pink’s Annual Mother/Daughter Tea. This business is based in Mahomet, an area that we visit several times a year to paint at. Pretty in Pink still has tickets available for this event at the I Hotel in Urbana… Check them out, it’s an amazing concept, and she is a VERY talented woman! Face painting is sponsored by the organization at this event, so you and your little one can get your faces painted complimentary today!
