Good Morning!

Just a quick update on where to find us this weekend, then we can get on to the good stuff! JP’s interview will immediately follow this post…

The past few days have been a whirl wind of booking, training (you guys are doing amazing, by the way), and painting. Kristi was at Jefferson Park Elementary today to help celebrate the end of the year with a super-special class, and two even MORE special birthday kiddos… Even Mrs. Watson got in on the face painting action and is now sporting her very own Diva Design!

Thanks for having us this morning, Mrs. Watson’s class! You kiddos were so much fun, and your enthusiasm is contagious. Kristi can tell why your teacher loves you guys all so much! Hope everyone has an awesome summer!

Okay, this weekend’s schedule is below. Hope to see you all SOMEWHERE! And remember, stick around for JP’s interview up next!

Friday: 6-9 pm at Farmer City Raceway! Every Friday night race (weather permitting) stop in to see the Wild Bunch and get your face painted under the blue tent by the concession stand behind the grandstands. Designs start at $3.00.

Saturday: Noon-1 pm (or maybe longer) at Higher Ground in Mahomet! Join Shelly for an Extravaganza! The great people at Higher Ground Coffee House will be sponsoring Shelly, so stop in to the shops, grab a cup of “joe” and bring the kiddos for free face painting!

Saturday and Sunday 9am – 5pm Fort Creveceour! Kristi and the Wild Bunch join in for the Spring Gathering reenactment. If you don’t have  plans one of these days, we HIGHLY recommend it. Great entertainment AND education. Wild Style will be offering Henna Tattoos, tribal and graffiti sleeves, and face painting for children, as well as our diva designs for women! Designs begin at $3.00.

Sunday 1-5 pm at Creature Comforts in Mahomet! (Told you they are too good to us!) Shelly returns to Mahomet for the Bow Wow Meow fundraiser for the Champaign Humane Society and Catsnap located at Creature Comforts. This is a top notch event, carnival-style event, so make sure to stop by!

Sunday: Lauren premiers this weekend with her first event as a Wild Style Designer at a really fun birthday party in Champaign, so keep your eyes peeled for pics of her work next week!

Hope everyone has a blessed weekend! We are going to leave you with a quote from Kristi’s interview. The way we treat people at Wild Style is of the HIGHEST importance, and this Maya Angelou quote is the perfect reminder of the way our choices effect others! Have a WILD weekend!

“People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did… But people with NEVER forget the way you made them feel!
